Our founder, Dr. Derek Giddon, practiced dentistry in Downtown Brooklyn for 10 years, where he saw firsthand the administrative burden insurance verification, claims, and payments had on staff. Frustrated by the stress on both patients and team members, he envisioned a better software solution. He teamed up with Daniel Horowitz, our CTO, whose expertise in data-focused software, and whose wife is a dentist, aligned perfectly with Derek’s vision. Together, they created AirPay to simplify and automate dental practice workflows.
